Greetings from the Christ Temple Apostolic Church Music Department! It is God's will to have a Music Ministry as the Scripture has declared. The Christ Temple Apostolic Church Music Department consists of various choirs and praise groups. We offer 4 choirs; Sanctuary, Mass, Youth and Men's. We also offer 3 praise teams; Church, Youth and Men's. We are actively seeking to grow our department and our ministry. The mission of our department is to cultivate an atmosphere conducive of the magnification of the name of Jesus Christ through song. Jesus proclaimed that "if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me." This anointed, soul-saving body of believers is appointed for such a time as this. We seek to minister God's word with understanding, purpose and power under God's anointing. Our purpose is not to entertain, but to break down strong holds and minister for the Kingdom of God through song. Psalms 67:3-6 declares, "Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy...Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us." Come and experience the joy of a better way of life. In everything we do, we are always about PRAISING THE LORD. To God be the glory!
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Music Ministry at Christ Temple Church is to provide an atmosphere of worship and praise in music, with instruments and songs for the uplifting and building up of the kingdom of God. To Minister in music by encouraging the saints of God to worship and praise the Lord, also to convert the unbeliever. To minister God's word with understanding, purpose and power under God's anointing. Psalms 22:3 said that God dwells in the midst of praises, and when we show unity and strength we are working together on one accord to bring into the sanctuary the presence of praise and worship which causes the blessings of God to come down. Thus, it behooves us to ensure that God is well pleased of the sacrifice of praise.
VISION
Our vision is to:
1. Sing with anointing, purpose and understanding as we minister to the people, ourselves and the unbeliever.
2. Provide opportunity for church members to use their singing and instrumental talents for the glory of God.
3. Promote spiritual growth among our music team members.
4. Engage as many new people as possible in the choir/band.
5. To use the Music Department as a tool to help reach, convert, teach and retain the unbeliever with the purpose of planting them in Christ Temple Church.
6. To build, maintain, grow and promote the Christ Temple Music Department as we celebrate the Lord in music.
